Abstract: The principle of resource room models, its components and service was examined in some details and was found to be practical and realistic in the inclusive education of the special needs persons into the nation’s educational system. The fimctions of the resource teacher were also highlighted. The implications of this service on the part of the special needs learners, the government, and the training institution were aptly highlighted.
