Abstract: | The article examined the disruption of
novel Corona virus Pandemic and quality of Nigeria
higher education. However, the paper noticed that the
Corona virus Pandemic had created serious damages
to the social and economic development of the globe
including educational system. To this end, the article
traced the history of the Corona virus, the symptoms,
the disruptive nature of the Pandemic, methods and
containment measures, how the Pandemic affect the
effectiveness and efficiency of Nigerian higher
education Administration. It was concluded that that
distrusted aspect of Corona virus had greatly affected
the teaching, research and community service in
Nigeria Higher Education. However, suggestions
was provided that, the government and stakeholders
of Nigerian higher Education need to get prepared
for the compliance with the issues of social
distancing, avoiding community transmission,
hygienic situations ,wasting and sanitizing the
hands and minds , the use of face masks and avoiding
an overcrowded environment including the higher
education environment. |
