A total of 1980 articles were retrieved from which 11 were reviewed after series of filtering based on titles, abstracts, full texts, and duplicates had taken place. A broad range of intervention programmes were reported. The key elements common in all the intervention programmes include: knowledge of the content and skill enhancement, skills in interpersonal communication, the use of role plays, small group discussions, and lectures as a means of communicating messages to the participants, and resources such as facilitators.
